 Bang On Blasting & Mining Services was formed when two individuals with a passion for shotfiring put their heads together and knew they could offer a more efficient, safe and cost effective option for clients in surface mines and quarries. 

John Weatherall- Director

A practical and resourceful, extremely organised and efficient leader, with a head for operations. John has lived and worked in Central Queensland all of his life and comes from a solid background. He brings with him over 25 years’ experience in the mining, quarrying and explosive industries. John possesses the technical skills and strong leadership attributes, combined with a thorough understanding of mining methodologies and operations to successfully communicate and manage relationships at any level of operations. 

Will Fahey- Director

A native to Northern NSW, grew up on a broad acre farming operation and was introduced to machinery at a young age. This would later develop a solid foundation for his passion of the resources, mining, and explosives industry. Being a born leader and educator, he has since built on this knowledge with further studies. Will brings over 15 years’ experience in the mining, quarrying and construction industries. He is very much practical manager with a ‘hands on ‘approach. With these skills, he has delivered on a range of projects in Qld and NSW coal mines, quarries as well as numerous cut and fill operations in civil and mining environments.
